Summary

In recent years there has been an increase in the demand for specialized professionals in legal psychology and criminology. Public and center private institutions require a professional profile that develops care and intervention functions in this type of demand. The Master in Legal Psychology and Criminology provides students with a specialized academic training adapted to legal-freight and expert practice that will also allow them to acquire the necessary competences to act within the scope of criminology.

Goals

- Acquire the skills and competences necessary to evaluate, value and intervene in the legal and criminological field. - Guide and advise other professionals involved in judicial processes in psychological. - Know the functions and areas of intervention of forensic psychology. - Acquire the necessary knowledge and tools to prepare the expert and criminological report.

Who is it addressed to?

The Master in Legal Psychology and Criminology is aimed at professionals in the area of psychology and/or the expert and criminological intervention related to the social field (social education, social work) as well as professionals specialized in other areas (law, pedagogy, sociology, medicine ...) interested in obtaining a competitive and specialized training that allows them the professional practice in legal, criminological and forensic contexts.

Official Character

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
