This Master of Permanent Training in Neonatology will provide you with specialized training in the field of neonatology, a specialty of medicine, and more specifically is a branch of pediatrics, which is responsible for carrying out the diagnosis and treatment of the diseases and pathologies of the human being during the first 28 days of life. Throughout this formation you will know the indications to treat the newborn from the moment it is in the placenta so far of childbirth and first days of life, specifying neonatal care and procedures to be followed in the normal newborn and with those that present difficulties, such as low weight and premature birth among others.

- Study embryonic development through its stages and detect what are the critical moments in this process. - Describe the main anomalies that can be given in embryonic development and during the time of birth. - List and describe the main usual procedures in neonatology. - Describe the neonate nutrition procedure during the first 28 days of life. - Analyze the evolutionary development of the newborn once the first 28 days of life have been controlled.

The Master of Permanent Training in Neonatology does not enable for the exercise of regulated professions. It is a specially founded training to expand and complement the knowledge and competences of professionals who perform their work in the health sector, especially medicine and nursing professionals.

Similarly, prepare in the formation of different pathologies that neonates can present, as well as in the realization of different procedures for the identification of these disorders during the first 28 days of life.

This Master of Permanent Training in Neonatology is aimed at all students, graduates and professionals both in the field of nursing and in the field of Medicine or Health in general, who are interested in expanding, updating or developing their knowledge in the neonatal area.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD).
