Master of Permanent Training in Petroleum, Natural Gas and Petrochemistry + 60 ECTS credits

These studies show the essence of the fundamental characteristics of the Oil & Gas sector, therefore, being a direct way to obtain sufficient knowledge to understand its nature and functioning globally.

The global objectives of the Master go to know how the referred industries work, know what their most current and avant -garde art is, as well as the trends, R&D and development estimates that are raised in the coming decades. To do this, sufficient agenda will be taught to understand the mechanisms of obtaining raw materials, transformation processes into high commercial value products, what is understood by a project, its phases, engineering and design of plants, equipment and materials more relevant to carry out these processes, the means transport and storage, the markets, the types of international trade and the types of contracts and the management lines that usually govern these industries.

The professional positions that can be seen enhanced and reinforced are quite numerous by the extension of the contents, some of the relevant are related to those of: Project Engineer, Project Director, Contract Manager, Contract Management, Top Management, Design Engineer in the Specialties: Static and Rotary Teams, MTO, E & I,… Personnel of Supply-Compress. Market consultant, raw material trader or final products: refined, petrochemical or biofuels.

This master's degree is aimed at every student or professional who works or wants to work in the Oil & Gas sector, including the petrochemical and biofuel industries, those interested who intervene in the design, supply and/or the construction of the materials, equipment or components that form the associated industrial plants, which are related to the contracts, the economy and/or the trading of the raw material LNG or biomass and/or final products obtained such as refined products, petrochemical or biofuel products. Also for personnel from other sectors that need to understand some of the particularities, characteristics, technologies, specific processes of the value chains of these industries, or, with respect to their current position and future estimate on the horizon of 2050.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
