Through the police defense master, it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge to apply personal defense techniques in any situation that may occur, in addition to instilling values to the student for the performance of the police profession such as rationality, adaptation, congruence and proportionality in the use of personal defense techniques and tools.

The Master of Police Defense is aimed at professionals who, for their work, must know the techniques of personal defense in depth and those who dedicate themselves to training other people about it, being equally useful for anyone interested in acquiring this knowledge, either to enter this work sector as to use them in their daily lives. Especially, it is aimed at state security forces and forces that wish to train in personal defense techniques and tools, specializing in the use of the extensible cane and in intervention with firearms.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
