Victimology is the discipline that studies the victims of crime. The main objective of this discipline is to know the characteristics of the victims and the relationship with the offender, so that a relationship of the facts can be established and apply the damage repair measures for the victim. This Master in Victimology gives you the necessary information to know the different victimological classifications and the relationship that can be established between victim and victimizer. In addition, it also provides information on gender violence, in advice techniques against ill -treatment and action protocols, as well as acting in front of children's abuse and bullying.

- Differentiate the different types of victims through the most used victimological classifications. - Establish the most remarkable characteristics of the victim-vicimary relationship. - Describe the main areas of victimization that are studied from victimology: sexual abuse of minors, sexual aggressions against women, domestic violence and gender violence, terrorism, organized crime and computer victimization, among other areas. - Identify the main services of assistance, protection and repair of victims. - Explain what the prevention of victimization is and how to work with the victims. - Know the problem of current gender violence. - Identify the forms of violence and crimes against sexual freedom of women. - Legal framework and sexual violence policies. - Know the advice, consulting and action protocols. - Train for social intervention in situations of child abuse. - Detect the risk situations of child abuse, as well as its consequences. - Follow psychosanitary action and intervention guidelines in cases of child abuse. - Intervene in the family, as well as in the legal and legal field in cases of child abuse. - Register and analyze the characteristics of the conflict assessing the disposition of the parties involved to participate in the intervention process. - Orient and evaluate whether the conflict is likely to go through a mediation process or if it is necessary to derive it to other existing services in the community. - To refer to other competent citizen service services, such as: Family, Criminal or Labor Mediation Services, if the nature of the conflict requires it to adapt the action to the need detected.

This Master in Victimology prepares you to know the main resources available for victims of crime, to be able to make a specialized intervention with victims of gender violence, child abuse and immigration.

The present Master of Victimology is aimed at all those interested in victims, both victims of gender violence, child abuse, bullying and violence in immigrants, in addition to all those people who are dedicated to the world of sociocultural services and the community, more specifically to community mediation.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
