MF0058-1 Hygiene and asepsis course applied to hairdressing

Nowadays we have a wide range of cosmetic products and makeup and hairdressing techniques that offer professional finishes, however without the qualification of the person dedicated to it, all this is useless. Through this course the student will learn the necessary knowledge to prepare the equipment and wash and condition the hair and scalp.

- Analyze the different procedures for hygiene, disinfection and sterilization of teams and work areas, according to each case. - Apply safety and hygiene and personal protection standards in processes for the provision of hairdressing services. - Apply reception, communication and information techniques to hairdressing services. - Observe the characteristics of the scalp and hair and select the most appropriate cosmetics for their hygiene, conditioning and subsequent treatment. - Apply hair hygiene and conditioning techniques, adapting them to each client, in adequate safety conditions and with optimal aesthetic results. - Evaluate the processes and results of capillary hygiene to optimize the provision of the service.

In general, it develops its professional activity in small and medium -sized hairdressing companies.

This formation adjusts to the training itinerary of the MF0058_1 hygiene and asepsis training module applied to hairdressing certifying having exceeded the different competition units included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and the non -formal training, via which will opt for obtaining the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls that they publish the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is directed for all those who want to guide their future work in acquiring skills for professional performance in the world of hairdressing, or all those who want to update their professional knowledge in this area.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
