MF0343-1 Hygiene and Safety Course in Beauty Centers

Activities such as: beautify the nails, apply hair removal techniques by mechanical procedures and discolor it and perform day makeup, respecting safety and health standards during processes, preparing products, supplies and devices, hygienizing them, disinfecting them or sterilizing them, all under the supervision of the responsible technician, is a function that becomes a general importance in society. Thus, with this course it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge to prepare the equipment and carry out customer service and accommodation operations in quality, safety and hygiene conditions.

- Perform basic cleaning, disinfection and sterilization operations of the most frequent tools and devices in beauty centers. - Observe the hygienic conditions that a beauty center must meet, describing the methods and techniques to achieve them. - Apply reception, communication and information techniques to auxiliary aesthetic services clients. - Apply safety and hygiene and personal protection standards in processes for the provision of aesthetic auxiliary services. - Apply techniques to evaluate the quality of aesthetics services.

It develops its professional activity in small and medium -sized companies of aesthetics and hairdresser by person: beauty centers, hairdressers. Also in hotels, gyms, geriatric, spas and spa centers.

This course will provide students with the knowledge necessary to prepare the equipment and carry out customer service and accommodation operations in quality, safety and hygiene conditions. The present training is adjusted to the training itinerary of the MF0343_1_1 hygiene and safety applied in beauty centers, certifying having exceeded the different competition units included, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through work experiences and of the non -formal training, via which will choose to obtain the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls that are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at all those professionals dedicated to the world of image and aesthetics in general and to the hygiene and security that is applied in beauty centers in particular. To all those people who are interested in acquiring knowledge in this area.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
