MF0373-3 Hematology, Blood and Genetics

In the field of health, it is necessary to know the different fields of the clinical analysis laboratory. Thus, with this course it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge to perform the hematological and genetic analysis in human biological samples and procedures to obtain hemedivated, acting under quality, safety and environmental norms, under the corresponding supervision, collaborating with the optional and interpreting and valuing the technical results, so that they are supported by prevention, to the diagnosis, the control of the evolution, to the control of the evolution, various pathologies.

- Perform, in the hematology laboratory, the quantitative analysis of the blood using manual or automatic procedures. - Analyze, morphologically and qualitatively, the elements of the blood and bone marrow, by different techniques. - Analyze the techniques to study hemostasis by verifying the proper functioning of the process or determination of its individual components. - Analyze the procedures for obtaining, fractionation and blood use in the Blood Bank. - Analyze the procedures used in the Blood Bank to guarantee the compatibility of the blood components of donor and receiver - Analyze the techniques of extraction and amplification of nucleic acids (PCR and variants) and their applications in hematological and genetic studies. - Analyze the methods of analysis of the human karyotype and its applications - Analyze the automation process and the use of large automatic analysis equipment in the hematology and genetic laboratories - Describe the process that guarantees the quality of the parameters analyzed in the hematology, genetic and blood bank laboratories

It develops its professional activity in the health sector, in organizations and institutions of the public sphere and in private companies, in the area of the clinical analysis laboratory, in diagnosis, treatment, management, and research. It acts as a dependent worker, being able to be the body or institution of small, medium or large size. Its professional activity is subject to regulation by the state health administration.

This training is adjusted to the training itinerary of the MF0373_3 hematology, blood and genetic bank, certifying having overcome the different competition units included, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and non -formal training, via which will opt for obtaining the corresponding professional qualification, related to the health field.

This course is aimed at the professionals of the world of health, specifically in a clinical analysis laboratory and all those interested in acquiring knowledge related to hematology, blood and genetic bank studies.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
