MF0374-3 course applied clinical immunology

In the field of health, it is necessary to know the different fields of the clinical analysis laboratory. Thus, with this course it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge to carry out clinical analysis in human biological samples, specifically on immunology, following the standardized work protocols, acting under quality, safety and environmental standards, under the corresponding supervision, collaborating with the optional and interpreting and valuing the technical results, so that they serve as a support for prevention, to the diagnosis, to the control of the evolution, and to the investigation.

- Analyze the origin, characteristics and response mechanisms of the immune system. - Analyze the extraction and amplification techniques of nucleic acids (PCR and variants) and their multiple applications. - Describe autoimmunity and techniques usually used for study. - Analyze the hypersensitivity phenomenon and laboratory techniques used in allergies studies. - Describe the methodology used in the study of lymphocyte subpopulations and in the functional characterization of relevant cells of the immune system. - Analyze the application of the various antigen-antibody techniques in the microbiological and hematological diagnosis. - Describe the process that guarantees the quality of the parameters analyzed in the various immunological techniques.

It develops its professional activity in the health sector, in organizations and institutions of the public sphere and in private companies, in the area of the clinical analysis laboratory, in diagnosis, treatment, management, and research. It acts as a dependent worker, being able to be the body or institution of small, medium or large size. Its professional activity is subject to regulation by the state health administration.

This training is adjusted to the training itinerary of the MF0374_3 Training Module Applied Clinical Immunology, certifying having exceeded the different competition units included, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and non -formal training, via which will choose to obtain the corresponding qualification.

This course is aimed at professionals in the world of health, specifically in clinical analysis laboratory and all those interested in acquiring knowledge related to applied clinical immunology.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
