MF0417 Underground drilling

In the field of extractive industries, it is necessary to know the different fields of underground drilling, within the professional area mining. Thus, this course is intended to provide the necessary knowledge to perform underground perforation.

- Analyze prevention and safety measures regarding the actions of manipulation of facilities and equipment, contained in a generic security plan in the sector. - Apply a security plan analyzing the measures of prevention, security and environmental protection of the company. - Describe work activities and environmental conditions in underground excavations, especially identifying the risks and security measures to be adopted. - Use the appropriate individual protective equipment for different tasks in underground excavation, identifying the different risks of the workplace. - Apply the established procedures to confirm that the safety conditions of the work (gases, support and others) are within the permitted limits to carry out the drilling with security and effectiveness in accordance with current regulations. - Interpret the drilling scheme, to perform the drilling optimally, identifying the data and symbology used - operate with the manual drilling equipment, according to the drilling schemes and the equipment operation manual. - Demonstrate some autonomy, at your level and within the framework of your responsibilities, in the resolution of contingencies related to your professionalism. - Perform the necessary operations to place the jumbo in its work position, performing the necessary checks and connections to perform the drilling and safety. - Operate with the jumbo, according to the drilling schemes and the equipment operation manual. - Operate with pneumatic or electrohydraulic rotary drills, according to the drilling scheme and the equipment operation manual.

He develops his professional activity as a worker on behalf of others in the area of production of large, medium and small businesses, public or private, dedicated to underground excavation, support and consolidation of the land, with use or not of the excavated materials. He performs technical activities, within the framework of the functions and objectives assigned by technicians of a higher level, of which he will receive general instructions and to which he will inform. The professional activity of performing explosives is subject to the regulation of the competent general administration.

This training is adjusted to the training itinerary of the MF0417_2 underground drilling, certifying having overcome the different competition units included, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and non -formal training, via which you will choose to obtain the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls The different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at professionals in the world of extractive industries, specifically underground drilling, within the professional mining area, and all those interested in acquiring knowledge related to underground perforation.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
