MF0858-1 Risk Prevention Course in Underground and Open Excavations

In the world of extractive industries it is necessary to know the different fields in excavations. Thus, this course is intended to provide the necessary knowledge for risk prevention in underground and open -pit excavations.

- Prepare individual protection equipment and collective protection measures to effectively and security, in accordance with the work instructions and internal security provisions. - Check the status of the workplace to ensure the completion of work effectively and safety, in accordance with the work instructions and internal security provisions. - Act in cases of accidents, emergencies and evacuation quickly, effectively and safely, according to established protocols and the Occupational Risk Prevention Plan.

He develops his professional activity as a worker on behalf of others in the area of production of public or private companies of small, medium or large size, dedicated to open or underground excavations, with use or not of the excavated materials. He performs support and auxiliary activities, fulfilling orders from the higher level operators and technicians, of which he will receive the instructions and to which he will report. Open or underground mining or underground mining workers must be previously instructed on the general safety and specific standards of their job.

This training is adjusted to the training itinerary of the Formative Module Risk Prevention in underground and open -pit excavations certifying having exceeded the different competition units included, and is aimed at the accreditation of professional competences acquired through work experience and non -formal training.

This course is aimed at professionals in the world of extractive industries, specifically in the area of excavations, and to all those interested in acquiring knowledge related to risk prevention in underground and open -pit excavations.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
