MF1018_2 course: Intervention in Socio -health care in institutions

Taking into account the social and well -being modifications that today's society has experienced, it becomes vital importance to attend to those dependent people in the socio -health field in the institution where their performance takes place, applying the strategies designed by the competent interdisciplinary team and the procedures to maintain and improve their personal autonomy and their relationships with the environment. Thus, this course aims to contribute the necessary knowledge to develop socio -health care interventions aimed at dependent persons in the institutional field.

- Select and prepare the materials and instruments to facilitate the observation and/or exploration of the users, according to the established protocol and to the indications the person responsible for the care plan. - Apply cleaning and disinfection procedures of materials and instruments commonly used in hygienic care and basic health care and describe sample collection processes. - Execute the prescription orders of oral, topical and rectal medication administration, specifying the material to be used based on the demanded technique. - Perform the techniques of transfer, mobilization and accompaniment in the wandering of a user, depending on their degree of dependence. - Describe the basic urgencies and first aid health techniques determining the most appropriate depending on the situation.

It is located in the public or private sphere, in centers or equipment that provide socio -health care services: residential centers, day centers.

This training adjusts to the training itinerary of the MF1018_2 -2 intervention in socio -health care in institutions, certifying having overcome the different competence units included, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and non -formal training, via which will opt for obtaining the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls They are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at all those who are interested in socio -health care for dependent people in social institutions, in general, and to the intervention in socio -health care in institutions, in particular.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
