MF1136-2 Course Preparation and Finishing of the Equinos Herrado

In the field of livestock, it is necessary to know the different fields of Herrado de Equinos, within the Agrarian Professional Area. Thus, with this course it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge for the preparation and end of the hijos of horses.

Explain the evolution of the herado throughout history. Recognize the different parts of the outside of the horses, describe the anatomy of the helmet and explain their basic physiology. Define the parts and materials of the horseshoe and the nail. Explain the handling of the equine taking into account the ethology of the species and carry out the driving, subject to its limbs in a practical way. Recognize and describe the tool, equipment and place necessary for the preparation and finish of the Herra and keep them in good conditions of use. Describe the work techniques in the deremchanted and lifted from the horseshoe of the animal's helmet, and demonstrate how to carry it out in a practical case of preparation for the Herrado. Describe the work techniques in cleaning the sole and the ranilla of the animal's helmet, and demonstrate how to carry it out in a practical case of preparation for the Herrado. It develops its professional activity in private companies, both on their own and of others, or public, of any size, related to the breeding, training, doming, riding and exhibition of horses.

This training is adjusted to the training itinerary of the MF1136_2 training module: preparation and finish of the equine herd, certifying having overcome the different competition units included, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and the non -formal training, via which will choose to obtain the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls They are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at the professionals of the agrarian world, specifically in Herrado de Equinos, within the professional area of livestock, and to all those interested in acquiring knowledge related to the preparation and finishing of the horses.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
