MF1146-3 Course Design of Metal Structures Products

In the field of mechanical manufacturing, it is necessary to know the different fields of the design of boiler and metal structures, within the professional area metal constructions. Thus, with this course it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge to make the design of products of metal structures.

- Obtain the data that allow the elaboration of constructive plans and assembly of metal structures, develop constructive solutions and apply required calculation procedures, complying with quality standards and prevention of occupational and environmental risk. - Prepare exploded and assembly plans of metal structures products, using 2D and modeling computer applications, complying with quality standards and occupational and environmental risk prevention. - Determine the necessary materials for the manufacture and assembly of products of metal structures according to the constructive plans and the specification of the materials, complying with the quality and prevention standards of occupational and environmental risks. - Assign materials, characterized and encoded to manufacture and assemble pieces of products of metal structures. - Identify and characterize the phases of the process, areas or lines of work, according to different constructive strategies. - Prepare a material supply sheet on a type sheet. - Prepare the documentation of layout, machining, cutting and forming of sheets and profiles for the manufacture and assembly of products of metal structures, based on the manufacturing and assembly plans, complying with the standards of quality and prevention of occupational and environmental risks. - Interpret manufacturing plans, obtaining the information contained therein, for the layout, machining and forming of sheets, profiles and tubes. - Define the layout and cut processes of sheets, profiles and tubes for products of metal structures, identifying the aspects involved in manufacturing. - Define heat figurative processes. - Define the necessary information for the figurative for beds, traced data development.

This professional exercises its activity in the specific industrial design area applied to the technical development of the boiler projects and metal structures. It works autonomously in small -sized companies and in simple projects, in medium or large companies, it depends on higher levels and develops its activity from preliminary drafts and technical specifications.

This formation is adjusted to the training itinerary of the MF1146_3 design of metal structure products, certifying having overcome the different competition units included, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and non -formal training, via which you will choose to obtain the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls Publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at the professionals of the world of mechanical manufacturing, specifically in the design of boiler and metal structures, within the professional area of metal constructions, and to all those interested in acquiring knowledge related to the design of products of metal structures.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
