MF1364_3 course, safety and environment in wood, cork and furniture industries

In the field of wood, furniture and cork, it is necessary to know the different fields of the organization and management of production in furniture and carpentry industries, within the professional area of carpentry and furniture production. Thus, with this course it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge for the quality, safety and environment in wood, cork and furniture industries.

- Analyze the essential aspects of quality systems in manufacturing industries of wood, furniture and cork products. - Analyze the essential aspects of environmental management systems in manufacturing industries of wood, furniture and cork products. - Analyze the characteristics of the raw materials necessary to obtain the product. - Determine quality control and improvement systems and environmental management in manufacturing processes of wood, cork and furniture products. - Determine the reliability of wood, furniture and cork products, in accordance with appropriate product regulations and apply the appropriate test procedures. - Assess the application of a quality system to the manufacture of the product. - Analyze the safety conditions required for the development of production in wood, furniture and cork industries and develop procedures for control and prevention. - Analyze and evaluate security and hygiene plans of the wood, furniture and cork sector. - Analyze current regulations on safety and hygiene relative to the wood, furniture and cork sector. - Define and correctly use security means and equipment used in the wood, furniture and cork sector. - Execute emergency and fire actions according to a predefined plan. - Analyze and evaluate real accident cases that occurred in the companies of transformation of wood and cork and carpentry and furniture manufacturing. - Define and analyze the different types of waste generated by the furniture industry with the applicable removal and use systems in adequate environmental conditions, optimizing resources.

It exercises its activity in the production area of medium and large companies dedicated to the manufacture of furniture on their own or autonomous.

This training adjusts to the training itinerary of the MF1364_3 quality, security and environment in wooden industries, cork and furniture, certifying having exceeded the different units of competition included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and the non -formal training, via which it will opt for the obtaining of the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the corresponding certificate of professional respective calls that are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at professionals in the world of wood, furniture and cork, specifically in the organization and management of production in furniture and carpentry industries, within the professional area of carpentry and furniture production, and all those interested in acquiring knowledge related to quality, safety and environment in wooden industries, cork and furniture.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
