MF1748-2 Course Maintenance of Material Media for Interventions in Fires and Emergencies

This course offers specialized training in the field of safety and environment, within the professional area of safety and prevention, more specifically in fire and maintenance prevention, deepening the knowledge and competencies in maintenance of material means for interventions in fires and emergencies.

- Perform operations of preparation and commissioning of the personal protective equipment. - Perform operations of preparation and commissioning of the different tools and tools used for rescue operations. - Perform review and commissioning operations of the different tools and tools used for fire extinction. - Perform maintenance and commissioning operations of the different mechanical mobile media used for the development of interventions. - Perform verification operations of the materials that form the basic intervention equipment in the means of transport. - Act in coordination in the use of the different vehicles and mechanical means used for the development of interventions in the shortest possible time and with the highest security guarantees. - Perform commissioning and verification operations of the intervention material.

It develops its professional activity in firefighters dedicated to fire and maintenance prevention throughout the national territory, as a worker dependent on public administrations (state, regional and local), as well as medium and large companies, being able to exercise international collaboration actions.

This formation adjusts to the training itinerary of the MF1748_2 Maintenance of the material means for interventions in fires and emergencies, certifying having exceeded the different competition units included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and non -formal training, via which it will opt for obtaining the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective Calls that are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at professionals in the field of safety and environment, within the professional area of safety and prevention, more specifically in fire and maintenance prevention, and all those interested in acquiring knowledge and competences in maintenance of material means for interventions in fires and emergencies.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
