MF1757-3 course dog training for detection, search, rescue and rescue of victims

In the field of safety and environment it is necessary to know different fields of canine instruction in security and civil protection operations, within the professional area of security and prevention. Thus, with the realization of this course, it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge to carry out the training of dogs in detection, search, rescue and rescue operations.

- Analyze the dog's behavior and characteristics. - Modify the behavior of the dog. - Apply the security criteria for third parties and self -protection during the management and training of dogs. - Understand the origin and evolution of the human smell deposited in a track or succession of footprints. - Prepare a work program to train the dog, in the tracking of a pre-determined smell footprint. - Apply training techniques to teach a dog to track a smell or succession of a person's footprints and to search and locate people buried in collapsed structures, interior of buildings or in large areas. - Understand the origin and evolution of human smell and its dispersion in collapsed structures, buildings, and confined spaces. - Stipulate when and how canine equipment for search and location of people through vent, in collapsed structures and large areas. - Prepare a work program to train and train the dog for the search and location of people in collapsed structures, facilities and buildings or large areas, through vent. - Recognize the origin and evolution of human smell and its dispersion in open spaces, as well as the meteorological, aerological, orographic aspects necessary to work in mountain areas.

It develops its professional activity both on its own and of others, in the field of small, medium and large private companies, and homes of individuals, as well as, in public administrations and/or entities, related to safety, defense and surveillance, detection, search, rescue and rescue of victims, search and detection of smelly substances, in support operations to entities associated with safety and/or civil protection. Its activity, generally, performs autonomously, although it can depend, circumstantially, on a hierarchical superior.

This formation fits the training itinerary of the MF1757_3 training module for dogs for detection, search, rescue and rescue of victims, certifying having overcome the different units of competition included in it, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and of the non -formal training, via which it will opt for the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through The respective calls that are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at professionals in the world of safety and environment, specifically in canine instruction in safety and civil protection operations, within the professional area Security and Prevention, and to all those people interested in acquiring knowledge related to the training of dogs for detection, search, rescue and rescue of victims.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
