MF1842-2 course surface finish operations of the dead, cover, superstructure and sports vessels and recreation

In the field of vehicle transport and maintenance, it is necessary to know the different fields of paint, repair and construction of reinforced plastic elements with fiber of sports and recreation vessels, within the nautical professional area. Thus, with this course it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge for the surface finish operations of the dead, cover, superstructure and treble of sports and recreation vessels.

- Specify boat preparation processes to carry out boat maintenance work. - Analyze prevention and safety measures regarding the actions of manipulation of facilities and equipment, contained in the security plans of the companies in the sector. - Apply the security plan analyzing the measures of prevention, security and environmental protection of the company. - Apply the environmental and recycling protection measures of the company. - Prevent the occupational and environmental risks involved in the finishing operations of the dead, cover, superstructure and vessels and specify the applicable standards. - Perform dead, covers, superstructure and vessel surfaces preparation operations before proceeding to paint, using the necessary equipment and means. - Assess the degree of suitability of protection and the conditions in which the vessel surfaces are found for subsequent painting or varnishing, protecting, where appropriate, the areas that should not receive the treatment. - Make beautification treatments for the finishing of elements of the dead work, cover, superstructure and vessel trees handling the necessary supplies and equipment. - Make the application of varnishes in wood elements of the dead, covered work, superstructure and vessel tree handling the necessary supplies and equipment. - Recognize damage and defects in the painted or varnished areas of boats using the tools and equipment necessary to correct them, without altering the final finishes or originating discontinuities.

It develops its professional activity both on their own and on behalf of others, in small and medium -sized companies, of both public and private nature, dedicated to the construction and maintenance of sports and recreational vessels, being able to include those of others of restricted length dedicated to other services or functions, as well as in companies related to plastic work reinforced with fiber, depending, in their case, functional and hierarchically of a superior position of a personal charge of a personal charge of a personal charge of a personal charge of a person lower level.

This formation adjusts to the formative itinerary of the MF1842_2 Training Module Surface Finishing Operations of the Dead Work, Cover, Superstructures and Tree of Sports and Recreation Boats, certifying having overcome the different units of competition included, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and of the non -formal training experience. Obtaining the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls that are publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at the professionals of the world of transport and maintenance of vehicles, specifically in the painting, repair and construction of plastic elements reinforced with fiber of sports and recreational vessels, within the professional area of nautical, and to all those people interested in acquiring knowledge related to the surface finish operations of the dead work, cover, superstructure and tree.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
