MF1966-2 Contingency Course in the natural and rural environment

In the field of security and the environment, it is necessary to know the different fields of the surveillance and extinction operations of forest fires and contingency support in the natural and rural environment, within the professional area of safety and prevention. Thus, with this course it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge to carry out tasks of prevention, detection and extinction of forest fires, as well as inform the population about them and support contingencies in the natural and rural environment.

- Perform contingency support in the natural and rural environment. - Identify and apply the intervention techniques in contingencies caused by traffic accidents in support for operational civil protection groups. - Identify and apply the intervention techniques in contingencies caused by accidents with dangerous goods in support for operational civil protection groups. - Expose fire intervention techniques in buildings in rural and natural areas. - Perform the preparation, commissioning and basic maintenance of the equipment and tools used in interventions for natural phenomena, check its proper functioning and operability, according to safety standards. - Execute technical tasks of support to the population in situations of risk for people, goods or the environment, derived from torrential storms, avenues or other derived from the uncontrolled aquatic environment, with the means at their disposal and the appropriate external support, verifying compliance with the safety standards applied to affected and intervening persons. - Operatively intervene in collapsed structures, partially collapsed, or with elements at risk of falling, as well as in the sinking of the land, evaluating the damage and potential risks in the course of the intervention, defining the intervention and safety protocols and applying the intervention techniques with precision.

It develops its professional activity as a worker dependent on public administrations, as well as in public and private companies dedicated to agroforestry and environmental work, working in a coordinated manner with the members that are part of the patrol and under the orders of a responsible.

This formation is adjusted to the training itinerary of the MF1966_2 contingencies in the natural and rural environment, certifying having overcome the different competition units included, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and non -formal training, via which will choose to obtain the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls Publishing the different autonomous communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at professionals in the world of security and the environment, specifically in surveillance and extinction operations of forest fires and contingency support in the natural and rural environment, within the professional area of safety and prevention, and to all those interested in acquiring knowledge related to contingencies in the natural and rural environment.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
