Musicotherapy Specialist Technician Course

Musicotherapy is a theoretical and applied discipline that develops intervention models with music so that the professional can establish an aid relationship with people with socio-affective needs, both in individual and group frames. The course seeks to introduce and deepen everything related to music as therapy and application in various fields, as well as offer the student learning the methods of therapeutic and educational use of music. With this course, it seeks to raise awareness that music is a tool for the playful, educational and therapeutic intervention, which opens channels of expression and communication, prevents disorders, stimulates creativity and focuses on healthy emotions to normalize the conflicting situation and stimulate learning.

This course aims to contribute to those professionals of psychology, education or any other related field and to those who want to specialize in the subject, all those musical skills and therapeutic attitudes necessary to carry out a good job as a music therapist in any of their areas of application.

This course enhances the sensitivity and motivation towards music, to become familiar with music as therapy of various diseases and invites you to know various techniques applicable to both the field of education and health. This course will provide the student with the necessary tools to apply the music properly to each pathology.

Diplomas in Magisterium, Speech Pedia, Social Education, Nursing, etc. Graduates in pedagogy, psychology, psychopedagogy, musicology, etc. Music professionals. Other professionals who work with people with disabilities and/or social disadvantage (graduates in medicine, diplomas in physiotherapy, nursing, social education, social work, auxiliaries, etc.) in general, to anyone who wishes to develop in music therapy.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
