Summary
Physics and chemistry are two branches of science that study matter. The difference between them is in terms of their range and method. Chemists and physicists are educated differently, and have different professional roles, even when they work in a group. The division between chemistry and physics becomes diffuse in the interface between the two branches, especially in the fields of physicochemistry, chemical physics, quantum mechanics, nuclear/chemical physics, material science, spectroscopy, solid state physics, crystallography, and nanotechnology. Thus, with this course it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge for the application the knowledge of nanotechnology in physics and chemistry.

This formation certifies having exceeded the contents that are developed throughout the course and having achieved the objectives described in it. This course is focused to provide students with the necessary knowledge, skills, abilities and competences that allow them to know the study of objects at micro-, nano-, and even smaller scales has always been present. In physics, some phenomena of quantum, thermodynamic, nuclear physics and even classical mechanics can observe the behavior of systems or phenomena at this scale.
