Summary
The Nursing Course in the Dialysis and Nephrology Unit to provide you with the necessary knowledge and skills in the field of dialysis and nephrology. This course is structured in ten didactic units that cover from the anatomical and physiological foundations of nephrology to the nursing care specialized in the dialysis unit. You will learn about urinary system disorders, congenital and hereditary diseases, renal failure, hydroelectric and acid-base imbalances, as well as the basic concepts of hemodialysis. In addition, health education, diet and psychological support necessary for dialysis patients will be addressed. You will also have a team of specialized professionals in the field.

The Nursing Course in the Dialysis and Nephrology Unit prepares you to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills in the field of dialysis and nephrology. You will learn to provide specialized care to patients in dialysis, understand and address complications associated with renal failure, as well as offer health education and psychological support to patients and their families.
Who is it addressed
This course is aimed exclusively at diplomas or graduates in nursing according to Law 44/2003, of November 21, on the ordination of health professions.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD).
