MF0629-2 Diesel engines

In the field of transport and maintenance of vehicles, it is necessary to know the different fields of the maintenance of the mechanical systems of railway rolling material, within the professional area of the railroad and cable. Thus, this course is intended to provide knowledge about diesel engines.

- Use the technical drawing techniques to interpret sketches and plans applying normalization, in practices that involve performing basic machining operations (drilled, sawn, threaded, filled, ...) in metal materials. - Operate right with the media, equipment, tools and machines to perform basic machining operations. - Describe the constitution and functioning of the two and four diesel engines, to be able to maintain and repair them properly. - Diagnose Diesel engine, possible or real engine, and repair them, using diagnosis techniques, equipment, checking and manual manuals. - Perform periodic and preventive maintenance of the different types of diesel thermal motors. - Disassemble, repair and assemble the mechanical engine sets or subset. - Describe the constitution and operation of the lubrication systems of diesel thermal motors. - Describe the cooling system of a diesel engine listing the components that form it and the function that each of them performs. - Describe the diesel cycle engine power systems, analyzing the different circuits that compose them. - In practical cases on maintenance of Diesel Diesel of Direct Electronic Injection by rotary pump, Common Raíl (Common Rail) and Injector-Bomba, perform the following operations with due precision. - Analyze the operation of the engine, evaluating the influence it has on the performance and formation of exhaust gases, supercharging and anticontamination systems. - Disassemble, repair and assemble the food and overcharge systems of the diesel engine. - Analyze prevention and safety measures regarding the actions of manipulation of facilities and equipment, contained in the security plans of the companies in the sector. - Apply the security plan analyzing the measures of prevention, security and environmental protection of the company. - Apply the environmental and recycling protection measures of the company.

It exercises its professional activity on behalf of others, in maintenance companies of railway rolling material, in the areas of mechanics, pneumatic and hydraulic.

This training adjusts to the training itinerary of the MF0629_2 Diesel engines, certifying having overcome the different competition units included, and is aimed at the accreditation of the professional competences acquired through the work experience and non -formal training, via which will choose to obtain the corresponding certificate of professionalism, through the respective calls Different Autonomous Communities, as well as the Ministry of Labor itself (Royal Decree 659/2023, of July 18, which develops the management of the professional training system and establishes a permanent procedure for the accreditation of professional competences acquired by work experience or non -formal training).

This course is aimed at professionals in the field of vehicle transport and maintenance, more specifically those linked to the maintenance of mechanical systems of railway rolling material, and to all those interested in acquiring knowledge related to diesel engines.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
