Summary
This palliative care course offers specialized training. We must know that palliative care is relief care provided to a patient who has a serious or deadly disease, such as cancer, AIDS or any chronic disease whose outcome is the death of the patient. This type of care is administered from the moment of diagnosis and during the course of the disease, at first, the administered treatment is curative or aimed at the control of symptoms, while as the disease progresses, the applied treatment is palliative, aimed at maintaining the patient's quality of life in the terminal phase. They are supplied by a specialist who works with a team of medical professionals, such as doctors, nurses, titled dietitians, pharmacists and social assistants and a psychological support team that intervenes in the emotional and psychological field of the patient and family.

To prepare you
The online course of palliative care prepares the student to work with terminal patients, thus seeking to improve their quality of life both in the hospital and at home. For this, it is intended to control the symptoms produced by the different diseases, control pain and generally improve their quality of life, main objective of palliative treatments.
Who is it addressed to?
The online course of palliative care is directed to those people who work or wish to work in the patient's palliative care. For this, the student will be provided with a series of basic knowledge of the subject with which to improve the care of terminal ill. It is also aimed at all those health professionals interested in expanding knowledge, as well as all those non -professionals who, for different reasons, can be interested in this subject.
Official Character
This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
