Among the most prominent objectives of the Pack of Courses for Special Education Teachers are: - Describe the concept of students with educational needs. - Know the characteristics of the teaching-learning process. - Explain the importance of attention to diversity in education. - Define the characteristics of Down syndrome. - Specify the characteristics of students with Down syndrome. - Determine psychopedagogical intervention in mental deficiency. - Effirm the necessary human and material resources in psychopedagogical intervention. - Differentiate between the concepts of disability, deficiency and disability. - Know the teaching-learning and attention process. - Describe the most general aspects of visual disability. - Summarize the intervention process in students with visual disabilities. - Intervene psychoeducatively with students with visual disabilities. - Know the characteristics of psychoeducational intervention in behavioral alterations during childhood. - Know the main types of behavior alterations, their causes and consequences. - Understand the various behavioral and/or cognitive treatments and techniques that can be applied during childhood as well as acquire basic knowledge for their correct application.

In addition, the pack also addresses education opponents who want to increase their score in the scale of merits thanks to the 15 ECTS (375 hours) that this package of 3 courses has, being, each one, 5 ECTS (125 hours).

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD).
