PEDIATRY DENTAL COURSE (University degree + 8 ECTS credits)

Prevention in the dental field is a very relevant topic today. Pediatric dentistry is responsible for dental procedures in pediatric ages. - Know what aspects should be known before carrying out any medical dental procedure. - Study the most appropriate guidelines on the behavior to be carried out in consultation with pediatric patients. - Indicate the most appropriate procedures, indications and contraindications regarding sedation, anesthesia, CPR in pediatric patients. - Study and understand dental anatomy and perionte. - Know the dental anomalies and the most frequent malocclusions of pediatric age. - Distinguish the different treatments that can be carried out in the pediatric dentistry. - Point out the most appropriate procedures to be carried out in relation to space maintenance. - Indicate the most frequent pediatric age and the most important prevention procedures to be considered.
