Summary

This postgraduate course in biopharmacy and pharmacokinetics offers basic training on matter. This course explains the interaction processes of drugs in the organism and the factors of physical-chemical, pharmacokinetic and also biological nature capable of varying the drug/organism interaction/dosing organism whose purpose is to give a better therapeutic response. This course explains the basic principles of pharmacokinetics and the reason why it is so necessary for the effective use of drugs in certain groups of patients.

Goals

- Know the evolution of drugs in the organism - Learn what are the causes of non -linear pharmacokinetics - Learn the morphology of plasma level curves in the monoocompartmental model - Know the objectives of the pharmacological response in pharmacokinetics - Know the concept and historical development of physiological models - Know the main pharmacokinetic parameters used in biodisponability studies - Learn of drug absorption mechanisms - Know the advantages and disadvantages of the parenteral administration of pharmacokinetics - Learn the types of factors that modify the metabolism of drugs - Know the concept and general characteristics of drugs
