In the field of hospitality and tourism, it is necessary to know the different fields of floors management and cleaning in accommodation within the professional housing area. Thus, this course is intended to provide the necessary knowledge for the processes of cleaning and tuning rooms and common areas in accommodations, as well as the methods and techniques of clothing washing.

- Properly interpret oral and written information, whether instructions, indications, technical specifications or tags of chemicals, vouchers or other documents used in the ironing process and clothing arrangement and in preparation. - Recognize and apply internal norms and measures of safety, hygiene and health in the processes of ironing, arrangement and making of clothing of accommodation establishments. - Apply the techniques for the storage, control and maintenance of products, utensils and lingerie typical of the accommodation area. - Describe and apply sewing techniques by hand and machine, using adequate means and materials. - Describe and execute the ironing, bent and presentation techniques, applying the appropriate procedure and using the established machinery of simple textile items classify the clothes for ironing. - Characterize, put up and use the equipment, machines and supplies of the cleaning and tuning of rooms and common areas in accommodations, according to their applications and optimal performance. - Describe and control the cleaning and tuning processes of rooms and common areas in accommodations, participating in their development.
