Postgraduate in operation, supervision and verification of transport devices

In the field of computer science and communications it is necessary to know the different fields of the operation in voice and data communications systems, within the professional communications area. Thus, this course is intended to provide the necessary knowledge for the operation and supervision of the equipment and services and specifically, acquire the general competition of configuring functional parameters and applying the maintenance processes and operational tests of communications equipment, making the connections between the communications lines and the systems that manage information traffic to verify the performance and quality parameters of the communications services following specified procedures.

- Apply test procedures for data transport and transmission devices, using specific techniques and tools. - Solve the incidents detected in access devices to public communications networks, following given specifications. - Identify the equipment that presents problems and the source of information according to given specifications. - Apply information collection techniques and analysis, to precisely identify the incidence according to specific specifications. - Describe the incidents that occur in the installation and configuration of access devices to public communications networks, to identify the response procedures in each case as stipulated in given contingency plans. - Classify the tools for notification of incidents and monitoring of the system, taking into account its function, typology and scope of supervision for use in the management of incidents, as described in contingency plans and incident management plans. - Describe the techniques used to, from an incidence notified, locate the damaged device, according to contingency and response plans against given incidents. - Explain the systematic procedures for the resolution of incidents to recover situations of interruption of communications services, following specific specifications. - Solve faults simulated in access devices to public networks, to ensure continuity and quality in the provision of communications services, according to given specifications.

It develops its professional activity on behalf of others, in public or private companies or entities of any size, which have connection to public networks for transport and transmission of data, in the Network and Communications Department.

This operation, supervision and verification course of transport devices, prepares students to learn about all operations, supervision and verification of data and information transport devices.

This course is aimed at the professionals of the world, computer science and communications, specifically in operation in voice and data communications systems, within the professional communications area, and to all those interested in acquiring knowledge related to the operation and supervision of equipment and services.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
