Postgraduate in police intervention with victims of gender violence + university degree (+6 ECTS credits)

An adequate police intervention can be on numerous occasions a solution to the problem of gender violence. State security forces, including police, are called to intervene in these unfortunate situations. Through the present course in police intervention with victims of gender violence, students are offered to the bases of the specialized intervention with this group, keeping in mind the different protocols to be used.

- Know where the State Security Forces and Bodies are reflected in the Spanish Constitution, and then know the function of the National Police. - Learn the basic requirements necessary to access the National Police selection process. - Study the different ranks that are within the National Police Corps, and their specialized bodies, including the Judicial Police. - Know the qualities and skills that are necessary to be part of the National Police. - Know the influence of the evolution of society and new technologies, used in police investigation processes. - Establish the concept of crime, in relation to minors, for being a problem of great concern. - Acquire the basic knowledge about the State Security Forces and Bodies, together with the legislation that regulates them. - Know the current legal framework in relation to gender violence and equality policies. - Study the concept of gender violence and know gender violence in childhood and adolescence. - Apply actions to prevent gender violence. - Know the main actions they produce before gender violence.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
