Pre -elaborate, prepare, present and conserve all kinds of products in hospitality and define their offers, autonomy applying the corresponding techniques, achieving the established quality and economic objectives and respecting the norms and practices of safety and hygiene in food manipulation are the general competences to be developed by professionals in this area. Thus, with this course you will be able to acquire the necessary knowledge to act under norms of safety, hygiene and environmental protection in hospitality, specifically in beverage preparation operations such as water and coffees.

- Request suppliers the samples of water and coffees, teas and raw materials for infusions selected for tasting according to the gastronomic and clientele needs of the establishment. - Prepare for the tasting the samples of packaged waters, coffees, teas and other infusions sent by suppliers and others that have brought their distributors to the company to identify and apply the methodology of the sensory analysis of packaged waters, coffees, teas and other infusions. - Recognize and record the organoleptic characteristics of packaged waters, coffees, teas and other infusions according to the tasting methodology. - Recognize and apply the current and necessary standards and measures to ensure the hygienic-sanitary quality of the hospitality activity. - Evaluate the environmental problem originated in the hospitality activity and control of the waste produced. - Adopt security measures and control compliance in all work situations of hospitality activity. - Assess the importance of water and energy sources and identify measures for efficient use in hospitality activities.

It develops its professional activity in both large and medium -sized businesses, mainly from the hospitality sector, although it can also work on your own in small establishments of the restoration subsector. It also exercises its activity in the food trade sector in those establishments that elaborate and sell infusions and coffees.

This postgraduate postgraduate or coffees preparation and environmental protection in hospitality, offers the knowledge, procedures and techniques for the elaboration of water, infusions and coffees acting under the standards of environmental prevention and safety.

This course is aimed at all those who, due to their professional functions, or not, wish to acquire knowledge related to the elaboration of water, infusions and coffees, in general and, more specifically, that related to safety, hygiene and environmental protection in hospitality.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
