Psychoeducational intervention is a set of accompaniment techniques and strategies based on learning theories and evolutionary development, whose fundamental objective is to facilitate and optimize the learning process, through the development of cognitive and social skills. Thanks to the realization of this postgraduate degree in psychoeducational intervention and physical-sports animation in visual disabilities you will know the psychoeducational and sports animation techniques for students with visual disabilities, managing events, recreational competitions, activities and physical-sports and recreational animation games for users with visual disabilities.

Goals

- Differentiate between the concepts of disability, deficiency and disability. - Know the teaching-learning and attention process. - Describe the most general aspects of visual disability. - Summarize the intervention process in students with visual disabilities. - Intervene psychoeducatively with students with visual disabilities. - Apply procedures for the management of facilities, open and closed spaces, natural environment, media and materials with activities, games, adapted and specific sports for visual disabilities users. - To specify the resources of intervention and physical-sports animation activities, established in a reference program, for users with visual disabilities, adapting them to their needs, typology and the available means, based on the data and information obtained, following the procedures established within an interdisciplinary team. - Apply management techniques and dynamization of recreational activities and sports initiation for users with visual disabilities, correcting the deviations detected with respect to the operational programming of each session, to achieve a maximum adaptation of the activities programmed within optimal parameters of safety and risk prevention. - Apply techniques for the organization and development of recreational competitions and physical-sports and recreational events for visual disabilities, and accompany them in their participation ensuring their maximum autonomy and safety, integrated into an interdisciplinary and coordinated team with all the technicians involved.
