Summary

Sexual violence is understood as all that act of coercion or threat addressed to a person with the intention that it carries out a certain sexual behavior, also including all kinds of unwanted comments or insinuations, as well as the actions to market or use in any other way the sexuality of a person. Sexual violence can occur in any environment or scope, from domestic to work, and is generally manifested through aggressive acts that use the use of physical, psychic or moral force to submit the victim. Through this postgraduate sexual violence, students will know everything related to this present problem in today's society, emphasizing the attention and treatment that victims of this type of violence should receive, and in particular the victims of gender violence for their relevance in this context.

Goals

Once students have satisfactorily overcome the present postgraduate sexual violence, among others, the following professional skills and competences will have developed: - Perform an introduction to the discipline of victimology through basic concepts related to it. - Describe the events and historical circumstances that have allowed the creation of the victimology discipline. - Differentiate the different types of victims through the most used victimological classifications. - Establish the most remarkable characteristics of the victim-vicimary relationship. - Describe the main areas of victimization that are studied from victimology: sexual abuse of minors, sexual aggressions against women, domestic violence and gender violence, terrorism, organized crime and computer victimization, among other areas. - Identify the main services of assistance, protection and repair of victims. - Describe the victim's legal situation in Spain, attending to current legislation and the Spanish criminal system. - Explain what the prevention of victimization is and how to work with the victims. - Describe the problem and scope of gender violence in today's society. - Make an approach to the concept of gender violence and the explanatory models of it. - Offer a complex vision of the different types of aggressions against women. - Describe the profile of the aggressor and the victim of gender violence. - Provide a vision of the legal bases and equality policies in which the police action is framed with the victims of gender violence. - Describe police action protocols with victims of gender violence. - Offer social intervention guidelines with victims of gender violence. -Coking the mission and service of the police can provide victims of gender violence. -Describe the problem and scope of gender violence in today's society. -Arealize an approach to the concept of gender violence and its explanatory models. -Free a complexive vision of the different types of aggressions against women. -Describe the profile of the aggressor and the victim of gender violence. -Porporate a vision of the legal bases and equality policies in which the police action is framed with victims of gender violence. -Describe police action protocols with victims of gender violence. -Free social intervention guidelines with victims of gender violence. - Define what sexual violence, its forms and key aspects is. - Define the relationship between sexual violence and gender violence, common concepts and differences. - Develop the characteristics and risk factors of the figure of the victim of sexual violence, as well as the figure of the aggressor that perpetrates it. - Analyze the current situation of sexual violence in contexts of peace and armed conflicts. - Identify and highlight the main needs of victims of sexual violence, as well as their medical-therapy approach to them. - Describe the different support and attention programs for victims of sexual violence in contexts of peace and armed conflict, identifying their main organizations responsible for them. - Analyze, from a national and international legal basis, the coverage, attention and rights that victims of sexual violence have. - Establish guidelines to safely and effectively prevent sexual violence.
