Summary

Social skills are part of the person living in society. However, there is not always an adequate management of everyday situations and for this purpose the training in social skills is necessary. For this reason, this postgraduate degree in the methodology of social skills in education provides information on the development and promotion of social skills in the classroom, since the educational field must be a participant in this development in society. In addition, it also provides information on guidance and tutoring functions, since they are a fundamental pillar for quality education and about teaching leadership.

Goals

- Explain the methodology that can be used for the development and promotion of social skills in the classroom. - Develop basic criteria and strategies to train in different social skills, such as verbal and nonverbal communication, assertiveness, self -esteem, self -control, resilience, empathy and active listening, emotional intelligence, cooperation and negotiation and conflict resolution. - Orient the development and promotion of social skills to the educational field, specifically to school coexistence within the classroom. - Describe and contextualize different concepts related to tutoring and school orientation. - Analyze the different organizational and functional models of educational orientation. - Identify both guidance departments, as well as educational and psychopedagogical orientation equipment. - Analyze the instruments and different tutorial action techniques. - Acquire knowledge about the organization of special education, as well as individualized psychopedagogical orientation to students and vocational-professional guidance. - Organize the Tutorial Orientation and Action Plan (POAT). - Know the relationship between leadership and learning. - Describe communication in the work environment. - Know the methodology to be carried out in problem solving and decision making to achieve educational success.
