Summary

The present postgraduate in sports nutrition for gymnasium monitors acquires its importance, in the world of physical and sports activities, through the need to know the different techniques and guidelines to be followed by every gym monitor. Therefore, the main objective of this postgraduate will be the development of these techniques and guidelines, as well as the description of the actions to follow to achieve the development of effective and pleasant classes. You can also specialize in the environment of sports nutrition, knowing specific nutritional needs of people who practice some sport. The Spanish Fitness Federation accredits only the contents referring to physical activity, any mention to technical-tactical aspects is outside its competences and accreditation.

Goals

- Know the anatomy and physiology of the human body. - Acquire the necessary knowledge to carry out adequate diet. - Identify the role of the gym monitor. - Identify the main injuries that can occur during physical activity. - Establish the principles of acting in the field of first aid in an emergency or accident situation. - Offer an approach to the main concepts of dietary and nutrition, applied to the feeding of people who perform some type of sports activity at a higher or less level. - Present the nutritional aspects of proteins, lipids, carbohydrates, minerals and vitamins. - Provide the necessary knowledge to elaborate an adequate food plan for people who carry out some sporting activity, either professional or simply or as a measure to stay fit.
