The tourism development agent is that professional who is responsible for investigating the resources and tourist positions of an area and designing and developing tourist products and/or tourism development plans. In addition, it is also in charge of marketing them depending on the needs of the market. This course offers the necessary training to be able to exercise as a tourist development agent.

- Analyze the evolution of the concept of tourism, identifying the elements that make up the tourism system. - Identify and explain the factors that influence individual tourist demand and tourist demand added to a tourist destination. - Recognize and classify the components of the tourist offer, and explain the characteristics of the different tourist services and products. - Select, store and process information of interest on the local environment to publicize its tourist potential, adapting to the requirements and needs of customers and the objectives of the center or the planning of the destination. - Program and control the activities of a tourist information center to adapt them to the characteristics of the local environment and the demands of the clients and achieve the planned objectives. - Organize the necessary resources to carry out the provision of services of the Tourist Information Center, adapting to the different situations that may arise or the particular conditions of the local environment. - Know the different processes of management of information and tourist distribution units.

The following course prepares him to be able to exercise as a tourism development agent, learning about tourism market research and detecting the tourist reals and possibilities of the area. It also helps you design and develop tourist development plans, organizing the necessary resources for the execution of projects.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University and PhD master).
