Practical course of the importance of mental illnesses in criminal law

Psychology is the branch of psychological science that is responsible for the investigation of all factors, evaluation, diagnosis, support for recovery and prevention that affect mental health and adaptive behavior, in conditions that can generate discomfort and suffering. This training is intended to provide the basic notions that are related to criminal law with mental illnesses.

- Acquire adequate technical and therapeutic skills that every psychologist will need for adequate development of professional, effective and responsible practice. - Obtain the concept of offender, thus identifying the circumstances that exempt, mitigate or aggravate their criminal responsibility. - Recognize mental illness and transcendence it has for the treatment of crime. - Study the different psychological treatments, the right time to do it, as well as the professionals that carry it out.

The training on the importance of mental illnesses in criminal law prepares him to obtain a theoretical-practical training in order to analyze the nature of criminology in relation to mental illnesses.

This course is directed towards those professionals of Criminology, Jurists, Sociology, Psychology, Social Work, Social Education, students of these branches and/or disciplines, officials of the administration of justice, of penitentiary institutions, and in general, towards anyone who is interested in the relationship that certain mental illnesses with criminology and therefore with criminal law.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
