Professional Technical Course in Social Intervention in Drug Dependencies

One of the social problems that have had the greatest relevance in the 80s and 90s and has generated more social mobilization and response from institutions, has to do with the consumption of psychoactive substances, many of them unknown to our culture (heroin, cocaine, ecstasy ...) others not so much (tobacco, alcohol ...). The context in which social problems arise, and their characteristics require broad, global and interdisciplinary training that allows training for the analysis and understanding of these phenomena, in the face of a professional intervention according to professional principles.

The objective of the course is to explain to the student in depth the issue of drug dependence, so that through their learning it is trained to develop action and intervention measures. Therefore we talk about a course with conceptual but at the same time practical objectives, for the development of a difficult profession because of the numerous existing barriers. Thus, the student prepares to identify the elements involved in the uninhabited techniques, the general steps and intervention techniques against drug dependence and basic concepts to establish a prevention and intervention plan.

This professional technician course in Social Intervention in Drug Dependencies prepares the student to develop social intervention work in drug dependence, understanding the conceptual aspects, identifying problems and causes, applying relevant intervention measures and implementing a prevention plan.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
