Professional Technician in Psychology Applied to First Aid

Emergency situations, whether catastrophic or not, require psychological intervention. Knowing how to limit properly, as well as knowing how to identify the key factors to be treated or aspects of rapid intervention is important, and may mean the prompt recovery of the patient, or the decrease in sequelae in said intervention. This course is intended to provide the student with the skills necessary to carry an effective intervention in emergency situations such as action against patients with nervous bulimia, cancer, bournot, suicidal tendencies, child hospitalization, the interview with the patient, and the basic notions to know how to give bad news. This course prepares students to apply the basic concepts of psychology in first aid and, specifically, to emergency situations. More specifically, the necessary skills will be obtained to be able to apply such concepts in real emergency situations, either from a professional or personal perspective.

Destined both to health professionals, to workers who want to expand their training or even people who are interesting to expand their knowledge referring to the subject of health psychology in the emergency area.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD).
