Summary

Science is in a good time. The scientific-technological advances of today are allowing the development of much more efficient therapies for various diseases. Cancer is a disease with a high incidence in the current population, being one of the main causes of death. Radiotherapy has evolved to such a level, that it allows to radiate a tumor without damaging, or very superficially damaging the surrounding tissues, being a very localized therapy. Through the course in Radiation Oncology we show you the main techniques and equipment used to treat cancer locally. In Euroinnova our multidisciplinary teaching team will guide you in your training process, with personalized tutorials.

Goals

- Master the most innovative techniques in terms of radiotherapy and brachytherapy. - Know existing types of radiotherapy. - Recognize the types of candidate tumors to be treated with radiotherapy. - Understand the concept of intraoperative radiotherapy.
