REGGIO EMILIA METHOD COURSE (PEDAGOGICAL METHOD) (University degree + 5 ECTS credits)

The traditional education model is taking a background due to the emergence of new methodologies that promote the capacities and competencies of minors from more natural and creative approaches. In this way, the Reggio Emilia methodology is presented as one of the most used methods at present thanks to its bases in listening, respect and exaltation of the environment and art as key elements in a basic education. Therefore, this course will allow you to know the different values and principles on which the Reggio Emilia method is supported, as well as will allow you to see the main concepts of said pedagogical method. In addition, it will also allow you to see what the role of teachers and families in early childhood, and how their implications can have an impact on minors.

To put into practice a methodology as different from the usual as this pedagogical model or the best known Montessori methodology, the teacher must have a series of skills and skills that allow him to integrate it into a more traditional educational system such as ours, so that the development of children is not harmed. To provide teachers with this knowledge, through this course the following objectives are intended to be achieved - knowing the origin and foundations of the Reggio Emilia methodology. - Identify what is the pedagogy of listening and how this Italian approach has an impact on childhood. - Highlight the importance of the environment as an educational agent and participant in child training and growth. - Explain how are the different perspectives possessed by a child and their impact on the way of educating. - Explain the theory of the hundred languages of Malaguzzi and the forms of expression in childhood. - Apply the principles of art in early childhood education through the figure of the atietista. - Work with child emotionality from the principles and values of the Reggio Emilia method. - Know the work methodology as well as materials and activities that are used in this pedagogical method. - Highlight the importance of the educational couple and documentation. - Relate education and family, highlighting the fundamental role that it performs in childhood.

After completing their training, students will be trained to launch this educational model focused on the role of the child in education. You can apply everything learned in professional fields such as pedagogy, psychology, arts, design, architecture, psychopedagogy, education, training, leisure workshops, leisure monitor and free time, etc.

This course prepares you to apply the principles of the Reggio Emilia methodology in an educational classroom, as well as this course prepares you to know how different forms of teaching in childhood have an impact, as well as allows you to discover the importance of teaching staff and family for the potential of competencies at the child and youth level.

This course is aimed at education professionals (teachers, teachers and teachers, children's educators) who have an interest in knowing more about one of the educational methodologies that are most impact on recent years, since it provides a different approach to the traditional one. It is also aimed at professionals of art, design, architecture or culture teaching that are interested in applying the principles of fine arts to the promotions of fundamental values in childhood, and in general to anyone interested in studying childhood and how to enhance new competencies in minors.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
