Summary
We live in a consumer society where it is very important to maintain all clean spaces, according to the established legislation, to protect the health of all citizens. For this, it is necessary to know how to prepare, transport and apply media and products for pest control in adequate health and safety conditions preventing occupational risks in the job. Controlling the development of diseases or the proliferation of insects or any type of plague that can damage food is essential to guarantee safety in the food industry, as well as to avoid crop losses that cannot be used for consumption. The EMPRES that are dedicated to the treatment of these types of problems must have qualified personnel in the management of pesticides and other elements of chemical origin, that you know the safety and hygiene measures that must be followed in each case to ensure that both the crop and the food are in the ideal conditions. This course provides all the necessary competencies to become a professional services for the control of pests under health and safety conditions in different work fields, we can carry out tasks related to the use of pesticides, such as fumigation.
