Social Attention Course People with Disabilities: Psychoeducational and social care for families with children with disabilities (university degree with 5 ECTS credits)

Thanks to this training in integral accompaniment in functional diversity oriented to families you can know firsthand the different resources of psychoeducational, community and social care of families with children with functional diversity. Similarly, one of the main characteristics of this training action is that students will be able to acquire the professional skills necessary to act, guide and support the families of people with functional diversity. When finished, students will have knowledge to comment on contents related to curricular adaptations, in addition to understanding how educational diversity and adaptation needs are carried out.

- Knowing first hand everything that surrounds functional diversity. - Analyze different processes for the promotion of autonomy in people with functional diversity. - Propose mediation actions to respond to possible needs and difficulties between the person with functional diversity and their family. - Identify community resources for families of people with functional diversity that improve the quality of life of its members. - Understand the fundamental aspects of educational diversity and adaptation needs. - Have the possibility of knowing the basic strategies to facilitate access to information and the environment.

With this training in integral accompaniment in functional diversity oriented to families you will acquire the most relevant skills of this concrete sector, as well as you can develop your professional activity in the areas of design, execution and evaluation of socio -educational intervention projects and development of accompaniment actions, among others.

With this training in comprehensive accompaniment in functional diversity oriented to families you will have the possibility of learning how to carry out adequate intervention with families of people with functional diversity, developing the competencies and skills necessary for guidance and support for families. In addition, you can know mediation and advice techniques in coexistence units.

This training in comprehensive accompaniment in functional diversity oriented to families is exclusively aimed at students or university graduates who want to expand and update their knowledge, competences and training or professional skills in the fundamental aspects of the intervention to families with children with functional diversity.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
