Summary
Most of the current population suffers from eye problems, caused by diverse causes. Ophthalmology allows to know the causes and the main alterations that can cause an irregular functioning of the vision and the structures that make up the ocular system. This course aims to provide information on eye anatomy, visual deficiencies and ophthalmic lenses, as well as general notions about optical colorimetry.

Visual system alterations seriously have people's daily lives, since vision has been formed as one of the most important senses today. This course, through a series of theoretical knowledge prepares the student to acquire a series of knowledge referring to colorimetry and adaptation of contact lenses.
Who is it addressed to?
This course is aimed at every professional who is interested in the care of patients who have different alterations in the ocular system that affect vision. It is also aimed at any professional who is interested in knowing the causes, symptoms and treatments that can be related to ophthalmological disorders, as well as anyone who is interested in the contact lenses and optical colorimetry.
Official Character
This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
