The documents are responsible for the analysis of the authenticity or falsehood of a document. According to the Scientific Police, within the National Police Corps, the Documents Copy is responsible for analyzing printed documents, the paper money, the identification documents, the manual writing and the works of art, among others. This course aims to provide information about the procedures and criteria to be taken into account to analyze the authenticity of said documentary supports, attending to the main characteristics and possible signs of falsification that can be found in a copy. In addition, it also provides information about the most used falsification techniques.

- Define the concept of documents, its powers and the functions it fulfills before the persecution of the crime of fraud. - Highlight the involvement of the National Police Corps in the work of the DocumentCopia. - Identify the main security elements contained in the different printed documents, paper and ink, paper money, identification documents and manual writing, as well as the signature and/or rubric and works of art, elementary objects for falsification. - Analyze manual writing based on the graphic aspects of graphology, highlighting the main personality traits that can be analyzed with it. - Highlight the importance of investigation of falsification of the firm and/or rubric to avoid fraud at different levels. - Define the necessary criteria to value in the authenticity of a work of art, be it ceramic, painting or sculpture. - Point out the elements and instruments that are used in the falsifications of documents. - Explain what falsification techniques consist of, highlighting the main procedures. - Highlight falsification as fraud and indicate the penalties and sanctions established by the Criminal Code.

This course prepares you to address the area of knowledge provided by the documents, in the sense of learning to perform an analysis of the authenticity or falsehood of a document in relation to an original document, as well as the author's identification. It also prepares you to know the security elements that are included in the different types of documents (paper, ink, prints, stamps, paper money, manual writing, identification documents, works of art ...) so that it can be recognized with the naked eye if a document is original or is a copy. On the other hand, it also prepares you to know the different elements used in the realization of a falsification, as well as the most frequently used methods and the penalties and sanctions that the Criminal Code includes as falsification is considered as a crime.

This course is aimed at all that professional interested in knowing the security elements that include certain types of documents to be able to perform an appropriate document analysis by selecting the necessary techniques and tools for it. It is also aimed at anyone interested in detecting falsification through the knowledge of the techniques used and the materials used, as well as is aimed at anyone who is interested in knowing the work of documentoscopy for the verification of the authenticity or falsehood of a document.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
