This course in psychosocial foundations of sports practice offers specialized training in the field. Physical and sports activity has always had a huge social draft. The central role that sport plays in society claims a deep reflection of all social agents that participate in it. Psychosocial foundations are essential to understand many of the situations they find in their daily practice with users of professional sports and sports facilities.

- Promote the growth, development and independence of people through physical activity and sport. - Identify the psychological and psychosocial factors that influence people's physical activity. - Be aware of the social dimension of sport, from the effects it produces on people (integration, socialization or violence), as well as the cultural effects of sport. - Define the concept and historical perspective of social psychology applied to physical activity and sport. - Study the sociological theories of sport, as well as the psychological approaches and currents applied to the study of sport. - Know the origin, object and contribution of the sports phenomenon from the social perspective.

It develops its professional activity both on its own and integrated into companies, public or private, dedicated to the realization of studies or activities of application and training in the field of physical activity and sports.

This course in psychosocial foundations of sports practice will provide the student with all the knowledge to understand the phenomenon of modern sport from the perspective of the new approaches to social and psychological theory. The student will acquire the psychosocial foundations for an interpretive analysis of the phenomenon of sport and physical activity and their expression in the subject.

This course is in psychosocial foundations of sports practice aimed at professionals in the field of physical activity and sports, as well as all those graduated or licensed in physical activity and sports sciences.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
