Sports Activities Course for children (university degree + 8 ECTS credits)

The Children's Sports Activities Course establishes the ability to implement sports activities of educational free time and take care that the leisure time of children and adolescents is profitable in terms of values and security measures. The risks that entail practicing physical-sports activities today must be contemplated by professionals in the sector, as well as knowing how to handle a wide category of techniques, activities and resources to correctly apply the recreational program. It should be noted that this training not only pursues a specific objective, but also tries to establish sport as a social element from childhood to show the benefits it entails in the area of education.

- Provide the appropriate content to education in values that occurs with organized physical and sports activity, for the conduct of activities oriented towards healthy living habits. - Manage basic didactic concepts as a teacher within the scope of physical exercise and sports practice - Know the repertoire of activities oriented towards sports and healthy habits. - Expand knowledge about organization of physical-sports programs- Control prevention, security and protection measures in physical-sports activities.

Regarding the professional exits offered by the course, it is worth highlighting that of the person responsible for the organization and management of a sporting event at the level of security, communication, ceremony, logistics and marketing and sports sponsorship acts. In general, you can work in private companies in the sports sector, within the scope of management.

This course prepares you to apply the contents to the education in values that occurs with the organized physical and sports activity, as well as to acquire the management of basic didactic knowledge as a teacher in the field of physical exercise and sports practice. This training will train you to address comprehensive health and safety behaviors of sports initiation in children as well as being able to prepare resources and improve creativity.

This course is aimed mainly to students and graduates (free time monitor, sociocultural animation, social integration and social education, teaching, early childhood ...). On the other hand, those interested students in sports activity in sociocultural and community environments to intervene in children.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
