Summary

In the field of sociocultural and community services, it is necessary to know the different fields of promotion for the effective equality of women and men, within the professional area of training and education. Thus, with this course it is intended to provide the necessary knowledge to promote and maintain communication channels in the intervention environment, incorporating the gender perspective, favoring the participation of women and the creation of stable networks that, from the gender perspective, promote the change of attitudes in society and the empowerment of women, detect and inform organizations, companies, women and agents of the intervention environment on labor relations and the creation, access and permanence of employment. of effective equality of women and men, participate in the detection, analysis, implementation and evaluation of projects for the effective equality of women and men, and detect, prevent and accompany the process of attention to situations of violence exercised against women.

Professional opportunities

It develops its professional activity on behalf of others in the public and private sphere, in collaboration with the intervention team and from the direct supervision of the competent person of higher level. Likewise, it detects situations of inequality and the needs derived from it, organizing and transferring the relevant information in the subject of their specialty, both to the reference population and to higher level professionals, to promote and guide actions in the field of effective equality of women and men, and prevent discrimination of the female population.
