Technical Course in Transportation and Health Emergencies: Technician in Transportation and Health Emergencies (aimed at accreditation of professional competences R, D, 1224/2009)

The increase in social demand for urgent medical assistance indicates an ascending evolution of transport services with basic and/or advanced life support equipment. In addition, in the case of collective emergency situations as in the field of international cooperation in response to catastrophes, the logistics capacities of the intervention teams must be enhanced so that they can develop their activities in the area with greater autonomy. This course provides knowledge about sanitary transport vehicles, the basis of prehospital urgent care, logistics development, recognition of patient needs and the application of life support techniques, to give rapid, effective and quality solutions in assistance to victims and society in general in the framework of health emergencies.

- Teach the bases of mechanics, maintenance and use of the health vehicle. - Provide the student with the necessary knowledge to apply basic life support techniques and advanced life support. - Train the student for their collaboration in the development of emergency plans and foreseeable risks. - Teach the foundations of logistics and health care in emergency situations, accidents with multiple victims and catastrophes. - Prepare the student to provide psychological support and care for victims and affected in crisis situations.

Health Transport Technician, Health Emergency Technician, Telecare Operator, Operator of Emergency and Emergency Coordination Centers.

This course aims to provide the student with the knowledge to exercise in the public or private health sector, related to the transfer of patients or victims and the provision of initial health care and psychological care, with the collaboration in the preparation and development of health logistics against collective emergencies or catastrophes, as well as participating in the preparation of emergency plans and foreseeable risk devices in the field of civil protection. This course adjusts to the provisions of Royal Decree 1397/2007, which establishes the title of Health Emergencies and sets its minimal teachings, in addition the present formation is adjusted to the training itinerary of the Certificate of Professionalism Sant0208 Sanitary Transport and Sant0108 Sanitary Attention to multiple victims and catastrophes. It is a training aimed at the accreditation of professional competences, therefore if it performs this training and performs practices or has experience it will be able to present itself to the call for accreditation of the competences and obtain the certificate of professionalism. Also and if you wish, you will also be able to appear to the FP free tests for which this formation prepares you.

Any professional in the health or security field that wants to acquire knowledge regarding the management and performance in catastrophe situations and accidents with multiple victims, such as health transport professionals, doctors, nurses, civil protection agents, etc.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD). It is therefore a complementary and/or specialization training, aimed at acquiring certain skills, skills or aptitudes of a professional nature, being able to be barely as merit in workbags and/or opposition competitions, always within the complementary training section and/or continuous training being always essential to review the specific requirements of the public labor stock of the public labor stock market.
