Summary
This course in sports injuries offers specialized training in the field. Physical activity is a factor of health, causing multiple beneficial and healthy effects in the person who practices it. Every day there is more population that performs sport on a regular basis, but we must keep in mind that physical activity is not exempt from risks, which has resulted in sports injuries being increasing and being the cause of consultation of health professionals. This course in sports injuries aims to provide valid tools to provide the needs that are presented in everyday practice, related to the prevention and physical sports for injuries, of professionals related to this area of training such as kinesiologists and physiotherapists, teachers in physical education, superior technicians in physical activity, etc.

With this course in sports injuries, students may apply training processes with prevention objectives or ailments recovery, within the sports field at different levels of demand. This training does not enable in any case only to work injuries unless the student has the university degree in physiotherapy, considering specialization for interested professionals, as well as for any athlete who wishes to have some basic notions about something as important as the injuries in sports and their prophylaxis.

This training is not included in the scope of official regulated training (Infant Education, Primary Education, Secondary Education, Official Professional Training FP, Baccalaureate, University Degree, Official University Master and PhD).
